You can choose your method of delivery, be that Australia Post within Australia (they insure up to $5000) or a secure courier system like FedEx, UPS and DHL (which can insure for larger sums of money). You can choose to insure the jewellery and will be charged by the courier accordingly. If you do not insure the item and it is damaged or lost in transit, then we will not be able to refund you the purchase price.
We would love to offer a concierge shipping service and are working on it, but at present the safest way to ensure your goods are delivered promptly and in the condition we sent them is to arrange your own shipping and insurance through your chosen courier. To offer this, we would have to average out the cost of shipping and insurance for each piece, add our margin to cover our insurance costs, and apply it across the board. This means that you would end up paying more for your piece than you otherwise would if you just paid your own costs.
We have found from experience that the surest way to receive our goods in good condition is to use a courier and the courier’s own insurance, as it is then in their interests to deliver the goods in the condition they were sent in.
