We love our jewellery and take great care of it. We offer a quality product and treat it with that same quality.
Antique and vintage jewellery is not brand new and does not look it, and that is part of its charm. Some of the older diamonds are very rough cut, and some of the pieces will show wear and tear from having been worn over the years.
Our jewellery has been cleaned, evaluated and cared for by a professional jeweller, with sensitive restoration if needed, to make sure that it is what we say it is and that it is a high quality product that will stand the test of time.
Our jeweller has cleaned all the older pieces with an ultrasonic cleaner, so that all dirt and debris is thoroughly cleaned out and any loose stones are exposed. If need be they are reset, with care and respect for the original impress, and the rings are sensitively restored to their former glory.
Cleaning your jewellery
The more care you take of your jewellery, the longer it will last for you and others to enjoy.
We suggest gently cleaning your jewellery with dishwashing liquid and a very soft toothbrush (not abrasive toothpaste) to keep it fresh and clean and lasting for many more years to come.
We also suggest that you take it to a professional jeweller every year for cleaning and to make sure that the stone settings are secure, as they can loosen over time, particularly with the old cut stones that may be irregular in shape and size.
Wearing your jewellery
Even though diamonds and other gemstones are hard, they can be scratched, chipped or cracked, so please take great care with your hands and body while wearing our jewellery (and even when you are not!).
Take the pieces off when you are doing the dishes, working out, gardening or anything else that may knock, chip or crack them, and store them safely while you are not wearing them.
Be delicate with your body. Enjoy the feeling of wearing these precious pieces, and treat yourself as preciously as you treat them.
